Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial

How it works:

The Spectrum IPL Photofacial uses broad-spectrum light energy to target pigmentation (brown spots), vascular lesions (redness, broken capillaries, rosacea), and acne. The light is absorbed by melanin and hemoglobin in the skin, gently heating and breaking down discolorations while stimulating collagen production

What to expect

  • During treatment, you'll feel a warm snapping sensation on the skin.
  • The procedure typically takes 20-30 minutes.
  • New patient paperwork completion takes 15-20 minutes.
  • After treatment, brown spots may temporarily darken before flaking off within 7-14 days, revealing clearer skin.
  • Redness and minor swelling are possible but resolve within a day or two.
  • For best results, a series of 3-5 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended.

Benefits:

  • Reduces brown spots and sun damage.
  • Improves redness from rosacea and broken vessels.
  • Helps control acne and post-acne marks.
  • Stimulates collagen for anti-aging.

Erbium YAG Resurfacing

Description of the procedure:

The Spectrum Erbium YAG laser is a skin resurfacing treatment designed to precisely remove the outermost layers of damaged skin. By gently ablating these layers, the laser reveals fresher, healthier skin underneath and stimulates collagen production in the deeper layers

  • The handpiece is passed over the treatment area (face, neck, chest, or hands), delivering targeted pulses of laser energy absorbed by water in the skin.
  • This controlled removal of skin cells smooths texture, improves pigmentation, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Unlike chemical peels, which don't heat deeper tissue, the Erbium YAG delivers both exfoliation and collagen stimulation, making it highly effective for anti-aging.

What to expect

  • A typical treatment takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on the area.
  • After treatment, skin often looks pink or sunburned, followed by mild peeling over 3-7 days.
  • Most patients notice smoother, brighter skin after a single session, with best results after a series of 2-3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

Benefits:

  • Improves mild to moderate wrinkles.
  • Lightens or removes sunspots, pigmentation, and uneven tone.
  • Smooths rough texture.
  • Stimulates new collagen for firmer skin.

Long Pulsed YAG – Spider Vein Removal

Description of the procedure:

The Spectrum Long Pulsed Nd:YAG laser is designed to safely and effectively treat small vascular concerns. The laser energy is absorbed by the hemoglobin in unwanted blood vessels, causing gentle heating of the vein walls. This heat makes the vessel collapse and close, and over time the body naturally reabsorbs it, leaving the skin clearer and more even-toned.

  • Targets spider veins, cherry angiomas, and small vascular lesions on the face and legs.
  • Works best for vessels up to 3mm in size.
  • Most patients need 1-3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
  • Quick treatment with little to no downtime-mild redness may occur but usually resolves quickly.

Benefits:

  • Reduces or eliminates visible veins.
  • Improves overall skin clarity.
  • Non-invasive, with minimal discomfort.

Q-Switched 1064nm/532nm - Tattoo Removal

How it works:

The Spectrum Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser delivers ultra-short bursts of energy that "shatter" tattoo ink particles into smaller fragments. These fragments are then naturally cleared away by the body's immune system.

  • Dual wavelengths:
  • 1064nm targets dark inks (black, dark blue, dark green).
  • 532nm targets brighter inks (red, orange, tan).
  • Effective for most tattoo colors (except yellow/teal tones, which are harder to treat)

Spectrum Laser notes 2025 UPDAT...

  • Treatments are spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
  • Multiple sessions are required depending on the size, color, and depth of the tattoo.

Benefits:

  • Safe and precise targeting of ink without damaging surrounding skin.
  • Gradual fading with each session.
  • Minimal downtime - redness and slight swelling may occur.

Laser Hair Removal

Description of the procedure:

The Spectrum 810 Diode Laser is the gold standard for permanent hair reduction. It works by delivering light energy that is absorbed by melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. The heat safely destroys the follicle's ability to regrow hair, while leaving surrounding skin unharmed

  • Safe for all skin types, including tanned skin, thanks to sapphire-tip cooling.
  • Quick, comfortable treatments with little downtime.
  • Most patients need 6-8 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, for optimal results.
  • Regrowth, if any, tends to be finer and lighter.

PiXel8 RF Microneedling

Description of the procedure:

The PiXel8 RF Microneedling system combines two powerful technologies-microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy-to rejuvenate the skin from the inside out.

  • Microneedling: Tiny, sterile needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates the body's natural healing response, encouraging collagen and elastin production.
  • Radiofrequency Energy: At the same time, RF energy is delivered into deeper layers of the skin through the needles, heating tissue to further stimulate collagen and tighten the skin.

What to expect

  • The procedure takes about 30-45 minutes for the full face.
  • A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort. Most patients feel mild pressure and warmth during treatment.
  • Afterward, you may have redness similar to a sunburn for 1-2 days, with mild flaking as the skin renews itself.
  • Results begin to appear within a few weeks and continue improving for up to 3 months as new collagen forms.
  • For best results, a series of 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended.

Benefits:

  • Tightens and lifts sagging skin.
  • Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and enlarged pores.
  • Improves acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks.
  • Enhances overall skin texture and tone.
